THE EQUESTRIAN SPORT SPONSORs EXCHANGE is a new program to bring together equestrian groups with sponsors who wish to participate in the $39 billion US horse industry.

The program is owned and operated by IRENE DEEM CREATIVE SERVICES, who has enjoyed a life long interest in equestrian sport, broadly defined as both amateur and professional involvement with horses, including non competitive recreational riding. Irene operates a professional equine photography and graphics business in Northern California, serving all breeds with a special interest in Arabian horses.

MISSION STATEMENT: The Equestrian Sports Sponsors Exchange seeks to bring together sponsors and equestrian event planners and individuals in an environment which encourages good sportsmanship and love of horses for their mutual benefit.

GOALS:

  • Increase public awareness of equestrian sport through increased sponsorship and collaboration by corporations, non profits, schools and community groups
  • Change the perception of equestrian sport as elitist to a more realistic understanding of the diverse, international and broad economic base that exists
  • Provide exciting and compelling advertising and public relations opportunities for sponsors through equestrian events
  • Encourage the highest standards of care for horses, fairness in competition and promoting honorable business, social and personal relations among participants, leading by example
  • Produce the highest quality media to serve the needs of equestrian groups and individuals and their sponsors
  • Match equestrian events with non profits organizations for development and public relations with a special emphasis on children and health care.

METHODS:

  • Assist in matching sponsors with appropriate subjects on a regional and/or national or international basis working with budgets of all sizes
  • Encourage small equine organizations to achieve growth by learning how to find sponsors and develop successful long term relationships that are mutually beneficial
  • Utilize modern communications without cheapening or dumbing down the historic traditions that make equestrian sport
  • Restore equestrian sport to its rightful position as an enjoyable, inclusive recreation suitable for people of all ages an income groups

There are hundreds of magazines serving the wide variety of equestrian interests, thousands of web opportunities and a growing number of televsion programs with equestrian content.
